Horse Trainer ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile application for equestrian trainers and their clients. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Account information: email address and full name, provided when you sign up or are invited by a trainer.
Session logs: date, duration, and notes entered by trainers for training sessions.
Photos and videos: media uploaded by trainers to document sessions or horse profiles.
Horse information: horse names and profile photos added by trainers.
Messages: in-app messages sent between trainers and clients.
Device token: a push notification token used to send you app notifications (if you grant permission).

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide the core features of the app — session logging, messaging, and horse record management.
To send you in-app and push notifications related to your training sessions and messages.
To send invitation emails when a trainer adds you as a client.
To authenticate your account securely.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. Data Storage and Third-Party Services

Your data is stored and processed using the following trusted third-party services:

Supabase – database and authentication (United States). Privacy Policy
Cloudflare R2 – photo and video storage. Privacy Policy
Resend – transactional email delivery (invite emails). Privacy Policy
Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) – push notifications.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below. Uploaded media (photos and videos) is deleted from storage when the associated records are removed.

5. Children's Privacy

Horse Trainer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
